Asser serves as President, the most senior technical role at ITWorx, which includes ensuring the best delivery of services and products, creating maximum value for stakeholders, and daily operations of strategy management.
ITWorx sure feels like home to Asser who first joined right after his son was born in 2003. Throughout his tenure at ITWorx, he watched both son and career grow side-by-side as he took on several new roles and promotions in a very short time, leading to his current role.
With a long history in professional basketball, Asser’s win-win mantra and the support of his loving family helped him get into the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University despite an injury in his right hand sustained from playing basketball during his High School final exams.
Asser graduated college in 1999 with a Bachelor’s in Computer and System Engineering, received a Diploma in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo in 2006, and earned his Master’s in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo in 2009.
When he’s not playing squash with his son Youssef, you’ll probably find Asser in a quiet place enjoying a good fiction novel.
