Water is the essence of life. Yet for many families, this most basic necessity has long been out of reach.

In some communities, a simple sip of clean water was once a distant dream. Families walked miles every day carrying heavy jerrycans, standing in long queues just to fill them. What they brought home would barely last two days. The alternative was unsafe, acidic water that led to serious health complications, even among children. Globally, unsafe water remains a silent threat, contributing to hundreds of preventable deaths every day.

At ITWorx, we believe in the power of people and the impact that purposeful action can create. That belief became WaterWorx.

Launched in 2024 in collaboration with El-Orman Charity Association, WaterWorx was designed to bring sustainable access to clean water to families in remote areas across Egypt, restoring dignity, protecting health, and providing better days.

A Journey of Commitment and Collective Giving

Over the course of 18 months, WaterWorx became a shared mission across ITWorx. Through the dedication and generosity of ITWorxians, and with multiple fundraising activities and reminders placed across our offices to keep the goal front and center, the initiative gained powerful momentum.

Together, we successfully raised 600,000 EGP, driven by a shared sense of responsibility towards our people and our society.

The impact reached 91 families across two communities:

  • San El-Hagar, El-Sharkeya, Egypt, where the first delivery was completed in 2025
  • Qasr El-Basil, El-Faiyum, Egypt, completed in February 2026

What started as an idea evolved into real infrastructure, real access, and real change.

Sharing the Happiness on the Ground

In February 2026, ITWorx team traveled to Qasr El-Basil to witness the impact firsthand and ensure everything was fully operational. Seeing clean water flowing directly into homes was more than a milestone; it was transformation made visible.

For families who once walked miles each day, water was finally within reach, freeing them from daily struggles and restoring their well-being.

For the team, it was a defining reminder of what collective action, empathy, and commitment can truly accomplish.
