FileWay 1.2 was selected as the .NET Application of the year during the Microsoft Partner Awards 2003 ceremony held at Semiramis Intercontinental Cairo, Egypt
FileWay is an enterprise .NET server solution that provides international and Middle Eastern corporate users with a web based tool to securely access files on corporate file servers and their local drives from anywhere in the world using any internet browser. No client software installation is required on the source or destination PCs.
The award was presented to the FileWay development team by Microsoft’s representatives, Ali Faramawy, Regional Manager for East Mediterranean and Karim Ramadan, General Manager for Microsoft Egypt. The award winner was selected on the basis of demonstrated .NET expertise, innovation, product ease of use, and the compelling business value of the solution for enterprises.
“We’re thrilled to win such award, FileWay is a great example of the opportunities ushered in by Windows Server 2003 and the .NET framework, extending the reach of corporate resources beyond the confines of the local area network.
