19th September 2007 – Cairo, Egypt: ITWorx announced the launch of two new learning products set to boost the Education sector internationally. Launched at GITEX Dubai 2007, the cutting-edge solutions will help create a unique experience for educational institutions, students, educators, parents, and technical staff.
ITWorx utilized Gitex Dubai as a platform to showcase their latest ITWorx Education™ service offerings, ITWorx Education Catalyst™ and ExamExpert™. The innovative, easy-to-use and scalable products give a new dimension and added value to schools using Microsoft Learning Gateway (MLG) as their e-learning platform. The MLG framework helps improve education by integrating existing systems and connecting stakeholders with information and processes needed to teach and learn more effectively.
ITWorx Education Catalyst and ExamExpert are the latest additions to the ITWorx Education offerings consisting of a combination of services including: consulting, development, customization, localization, integration, deployment, training and support, all based on the MLG framework.
Hafez Hamdy, Sales Manager ITWorx comments, “With the increasing demand for a new e-learning approach and by carefully listening to our customers’ feedback, we created both Catalyst and ExamExpert. The Education sector is booming in the EMEA region as well as globally, therefore it is necessary to keep our service offerings up-to-date with the needs of the market.”
Catalyst is a pioneering product suite equipped with advanced tools that have been specifically designed to enable academic institutions to create their own school websites, user data, user groups, and site memberships. The Catalyst product features automated provisioning functions for schools and users, thus guaranteeing faster easy-to-scale running systems.
Also set to enable academic success is ExamExpert, an ITWorx Education product that facilitates the process of evaluating students while providing significant feedback to students, teachers, and parents. The ExamExpert offers learning institutions an easier way to construct, schedule, deliver, and evaluate exams.
“The ITWorx Education Catalyst speeds up and facilitates the MLG mass deployment for schools and users. The product suite encourages academic institutions to adopt e-learning solutions in their schools, as it significantly accelerates solution deployment and provisioning”, Hamdy adds. “While the ExamExpert, with its user-centric interface and wide range of flexible features, introduces an assessment tool that further enhances the e-learning experience for students, teachers, and parents.”
ITWorx has had an impressive response, both on a local and global scale, from institutions selecting ITWorx Education offerings for their schools.
