Monday 10, April, 2005 – Cairo, Egypt – ITWorx announced today that operations in its new Alexandria-based development center will begin on the 1st of May, 2005.
The main objective of the Alexandria development center is to capitalize on the potential of Computer Science and Engineering graduates from local reputable universities like Alexandria University and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport.
“Over the past 10 years, ITWorx has relied on a large of contingent of Alexandrians, with great caliber and potential” said Wael Amin, ITWorx President, “We are very excited to tap into this immensely talented pool of resources.” He added.
Located in the Lotus Business Center, Semouha, the Alexandria branch will serve only as a development center, with no sales or marketing representation. The new center is estimated to employ 40 software engineers towards the final quarter of 2005.
