29th July 2007 – Cairo, Egypt: ITWorx, the largest software professional services firm in Egypt, announced today the delivery of the Durham Learning Gateway (DLG), a customized education portal based on Microsoft Learning Gateway (MLG) 2005; introducing 25 Durham County Council schools to the e-leaning experience.

 

ITWorx delivered MLG in 25 secondary schools using its key education service offerings including: consultancy, customization/development, deployment, testing, and support. This premium service offering was further enhanced with ITWorx use of its own in-house developed tools: the Auto-Deployment Tool and Enterprise Provisioning Application.

Durham County Council has worked with ITWorx, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and education expert to deploy MLG 2005 in 25 of its schools. Starting with a bundle of customizations and development efforts, the solution has been readily compliant with the learning standards specified by Durham County Council. Leveraging ITWorx own developed tools, Durham County Council was further able to extend the elearning solution to up to 60 schools and more are yet to come.
