Sherif packs two decades of global experience under his belt in Marketing and Communications on the agency, in-house, and consulting sides. He first started his career at ITWorx where he served for 8 years before moving to Canada in 2008.

In Canada, Sherif started consulting with Reliance Comfort, the largest provider of residential and commercial HVAC and security systems, and later for the University of Sharjah, the largest university in the UAE, where he served as Marketing Advisor to the Chancellor. In 2011, Sherif designed the new brand of the University of Sharjah and led a major rebranding and image overhaul project.

Since then, Sherif has been providing Marketing consulting and advisory services to Fortune 100s like Microsoft, PepsiCo, and Johnson & Johnson, and government entities like Abu Dhabi Police. He joined Cequens, the largest CPaaS provider in the Middle East as Marketing Director in 2015 before returning to ITWorx as Chief Marketing Officer in 2019.

A technology and gadget junkie, Sherif holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and did postgraduate studies in Communication at the University of Ottawa in 2009. Sherif writes frequently about brand management, corporate culture, and employee engagement.
