ITWORX Works with Saudi Ministry of Labour to Transform Service Delivery and Productivity

As part of its strategic vision, the Saudi Ministry of Labour (MoL) embarked upon the transformation of its service delivery, becoming the first ministry in the Kingdom to provide e-services over the Yesser Government Service Bus (GSB). The Ministry’s e-services were integrated into the existing public portal to provide citizens and businesses with fast access to information and services.

An employee Intranet was designed to connect all 38 local MoL offices with a single back-end e-service system as well as the GSB. With such advanced integration, collaboration and information-sharing between MoL departments and other governmental institutions was promoted, in addition to increased productivity and cost savings.

With such advanced integration, collaboration and information-sharing between MoL departments and other governmental institutions was promoted, in addition to increased productivity and cost savings.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) needed a professional, standards-based Web portal that each of their embassies, consulates, and delegates could leverage to improve productivity, provide better employee and public services, and present a consistent image of Egypt worldwide. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, ITWORX was selected to develop the MFA portal and propose the appropriate infrastructure for a scalable and secure portal solution that could be easily implemented within all Egyptian embassies and consulates worldwide to provide a consistent Web image and better access to services.

The Department of Economic Development (DED) in Dubai commissioned ITWORX to effect a dramatic transformation in the delivery of services. ITWORX implemented an online Appointment Management System and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution, in addition to enhancements to the existing portal which make the user experience more interactive. The result is faster access to services for all users, as well as improved information sharing leading to greater efficiency and employee satisfaction within DED.

A part of the e-government initiative, Egypt Post needed to establish its own Intranet to empower employees with collaboration functionalities, operational efficiency, and exposure to IT environment. ITWorx, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, developed the Egypt Post Intranet portal as well as the Postal Information System (PIS) solution. Together, the portal and the PIS improved information dissemination within Egypt Post, increased internal collaboration, generated analytical reports, and enhanced the overall organization performance.

The MOI faced challenges in accurately and efficiently presenting information to investors worldwide. The MOI needed a Web portal solution to demonstrate its transparency and credibility in order to provide investors with key information about the investment sector in Egypt. A Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, ITWORX successfully developed, tested, and deployed the Egyptian Investment Portal (EIP) in less than four weeks – an unprecedented turn around for a project of this scope.

The Egyptian Mortgage Finance Authority (EMFA) needed a portal solution that automates its business services, and promotes investing in the mortgage finance sector in Egypt. ITWORX, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, was the perfect fit to fulfill EMFA needs using Microsoft technologies. In a strategic project, ITWORX created the EMFA Web portal, a dynamic content-based solution that automates the EMFA services, acts as a centralized information repository, and connects mortgage finance communities.

A part of the e-government initiative, Egypt Post needed to leverage its huge presence in Egyptian cities, suburbs, and villages to include Bank Faisal Portfolio Management Services into its system in order to provide citizens with comprehensive investment opportunities. ITWORX, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, was the developer of Egypt Post Financial System. It was further engaged integrate that system with Bank Faisal Banking System to incorporate Islamic Portfolio Management Services to citizens through a secure back-end that enables administrators to manage customers, accounts, and transactions information.

Leading the charge to sustainable development, Jeddah Municipality is undertaking strategic initiatives to e-transform its internal processes and operations in a quest for greater productivity and better services for its citizens. As part of this endeavor, ITWORX custom-developed the Correspondence Tracking System (CTS), a web-based process monitoring application for tracking governmental transactions, and integrated it with its Microsoft-based e-services platform. The result? Average executed transactions per day multiplied leading to a significant rise in the number of daily submitted requests and increased credibility of the Municipality’s operations and performance.

With the onset of the flu season, ITWORX provided Ottawa Public Health (OPH) with its proprietary and secure ‘Visit Management’ software to seamlessly automate influenza vaccination appointment reservations. The web‐based software enabled OPH to provide the influenza vaccine to numerous residents at multiple locations through an online self‐scheduling feature, and resulted in shorter queues at OPH flu vaccination clinics.
