For Schools
Catalyst School Provisioning allows creation and updating of any SharePoint-based learning platform hierarchy of websites of schools, teachers, students, and parents.
Each school is created as a single MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server) site collection; allowing for better manageability in maintaining single school content as well as more scalability in deploying any number of schools.
With flexible profile management, new school provisioning profiles can be added, updated, and even later applied on more than one school with the same structure.

For Users
Catalyst User Provisioning creates and customizes user accounts and groups in Active Directory, assigns Exchange mailboxes, configures Microsoft SLK to provision class sites to MOSS and adjust user access rights.
Catalyst User Provisioning sets correct permissions for users on SharePoint sites, SharePoint Learning Kit (SLK), and Office Communication Server (OCS).
Each user is assigned a single account granting him/her a consolidated view of the multiple roles they play in a school, or the multiple schools they are associated with. |

For Data
Catalyst MIS (Management Information Systems) Integrator is a new add-on application that complements the Catalyst User Provisioning functionality.
The MIS Integrator enables automatic and scheduled data extraction from leading MIS systems or any customized application into a hosted MLG.
