Bringing Additional Single Sign-On, Work Process Digitization, and Online Polling Capabilities to the Plumtree Platform
ITWorx, a leader in IT professional services and next-generation corporate portal development, today announced the availability of three Plumtree Gadget Web Services for integrating self-service single sign-on, work process digitization, and online polling capabilities from third-party applications in the Plumtree Corporate Portal. Plumtree Gadget Web Services are portal components that integrate services from enterprise applications and Internet sites to the portal. ITWorx is a Plumtree partner and developed the Gadget Web Services at the request of a joint customer.
ITWorx's three Plumtree Gadget Web Services are: SinglePass for single-password access; iPlanet Process Manager Integration (PMI) to digitize work processes; and Poll Manager for online surveys. They are discrete components that integrate third-party application functionality into a Plumtree Corporate Portal.
SinglePass
SinglePass simply and securely enables organizations to create and manage self-service single sign-on access to multiple sites and portal-based applications. Using a database server with 128-bit encrypted security, SinglePass lets users and administrators create a single sign-on mechanism for sites and applications that are frequently accessed from individual portal desktops.
iPlanet Process Manager Integration (PMI)
iPlanet Process Manager Integration (PMI) simplifies electronic work processes by breaking complex tasks into manageable activities and status lists delivered directly to the desktop. This allows portal users to fully utilize workflow processes, approve tasks, automatically track statuses and make history inquiries while remaining within the portal environment.
Poll Manager
Designed to create simple, yet powerful surveys online, Poll Manager lets organizations rapidly obtain accurate feedback regarding issues facing employees, business partners and customers. Polls can be created and deployed within departments or across organizations and communities. Controlled voting and management tools ensure the integrity of results within targeted communities.
