Synchronization slow with Class Server
KBA-10033
Problem
Class Server teacher client synchronization is slow
Solution
When a teacher synchronizes a large number of files with Class Server, the synchronization may take a long time. For example, a teacher sends an assignment to 45 students and the assignment requires each student to return a book report by attaching a file, and then submitting the assignment. If each student's attachment averages 2 megabytes (MB), then the amount of data to synchronize for this assignment will be approximately 90 MB (45 students x 2 MB). In this case, the teacher will need additional time to synchronize the 90 MB with the server. This situation can be improved with faster networking and disk drive hardware.
